Sign up for the 3rd season of the Blood Bowl Super League at Tabletop Republic High Wycombe! The league is due to commence Monday the 11th November.
 
AGE RESTRICTION - As the league predominently takes place in evening sessions, you must be 18+ to join the league. Players 16 and over are permitted if accompanied by an adult each round.
 
Welcome to the Blood Bowl Super League!
 
The Super League is split into two divisions - the Premier Division and the Second Division. The Premier Division is entered via promotion from the Second Division. Unless you have gained promotion from the previous season, your sign up here will be for the Second Division. 

SCORING
 
The leages operate the following scoring systems: 
 
2 pts for a win
1 pt for a draw
0 points for a loss
 
First tiebreaker - TD difference, second tiebreaker - CAS difference

PROMOTION / RELEGATION
 
The top two places in the Second division will be promoted to the Premier division and the bottom two places in the Premier division will be relegated to the Second division for Season IV.
 
RULES
 
Games are played in a 2-week window. It is required of all players to be members of the Discord server, on which the league is predominently managed. Players will receive their pairings every 2 weeks, and games are to be arranged between players independently.

Blood Bowl is typically played on Monday evenings at Tabletop Republic, but there is no solid requirement for a league match to be played on a Monday. It's better to arrange the game on another day than to not play it at all! However, if as many games as possible can be played on a Monday we get that "club night" feel.

Cost - This £6 entry fee covers the first round's table fee. This is the regular £5 table fee to play in store plus £1 for prizing at the end of the league. For subsequent rounds this £6 fee is payable over the counter in store.
 
TEAM BUILDING:
 
The Blood Bowl Super League at Tabletop Republic uses a ressurection format, predominently found in tournament play. There is no progression through the games, players do not get injured, die or gain star player points etc. Instead, each round a coach will build a team to the specifications below: (note - there is NO REQUIREMENT to play the same team between rounds. Coaches are permitted, even encouraged to try different teams and builds through the league.).

1,200,000 gp base allowance. 8 primary skills -OR- 5 primary and 2 secondary skills.

Star Players permitted (see ban list), 1,250,000 gp base allowance.
8 primary skills -OR- 5 primary and 2 secondary skills.

Inducements
The only inducements permitted are Apothecaries, Bloodweiser Kegs, Halfling Master Chefs, and Bribes, which are paid for out of the gold pieces referenced above prior to the tournament. No inducements are able to be purchased at the table, so spend that gold!

Skills Packages
 
Once you have fully purchased your team as described above, you may distribute additional skills amongst your players as per the tiers above these skills are not “paid for” using your gold pieces allowance and are instead simply added to your roster.
 
No player may receive more than 2 additional skills.
 
A coach that selects a tier package where secondary skills are available may substitute one of the secondary skills for a primary skill if they wish (i.e. take 6 primary 1 secondary instead of 5 primary 2 secondary).
 
Painting Requirements
Teams are not required to be fully painted but it is required that they are fully built miniatures and that any positionals and the additional skills given are clearly defined on the miniature.
 
Prayers To Nuffle
Any reference to rolling on the “Prayers to Nuffle” Table must utilise the Exhibition variant of the table found on page 103 of the Blood Bowl rulebook.
