Steel and Snow - A Battle of the Bulge Narrative Flames of War Event at Tabletop Republic High Wycombe on Saturday the 15th March 2025.
 
REFUND POLICY – Please read before booking your ticket:
We cannot process refunds for any ticket cancellations that occur within 30 days prior to the event start date. Please ensure you are able to attend and are committed to the date before booking your ticket, it helps us run a smoother tournament and means we are not losing out having to refund late drop outs.

Food is not included in the ticket price; there is a range of other establishments in short walking distance that sell hot and cold food.

Army Composition:
 
As this is a narrative event player’s will have to select their formation from a predetermined list that will be available on the discord, choosing either a German or American force depending on their ticket. British forces will be allowed if you are keen to play but don’t have an appropriate allied force. 
 
These lists must conform to the standard Flames of War army composition rules. Every player's army must be fully painted though historical accuracy is not necessary within colour schemes. Miniatures however must be WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) i.e., each model should be constructed to accurately depict the type of vehicle, infantry or field gun that it is intended to represent on the battlefield and no proxying is permitted with armaments etc. 
 
Late War Leviathans are not permitted.
 
Please note that due to our position as a high street retail store, we do not permit the German swastika to be displayed on any models or accessories. We appreciate that Flames of War is a World War II strategy game, but we hope our players understand the controversial and offensive nature of the symbol regardless of historical accuracy.Please ensure if your models have any swastika emblems these are covered in some way. We will insist they are removed from play if this is not followed.
 
Army list - Army lists will be picked and discussed on the discord. As this is a narrative event lists will be reviewed before the event.
 
Event:
 
This event will feature 3 games with pre-picked missions and special rules, games will not be focusing on wins/losses or small points instead will be dependent on certain goals and objectives being met by each team. There will be a player selected to captain team German and team America in order to discuss strategy. There is a chance that not every fight will be fair / equal points depending on success or failure.
 
The scenario instead is focused on the Germans pushing for the river Meuse with a large pool of Panzer units but with a limited number of fuel resources to keep these units on the move. 
 
Meanwhile, the Allied players are struggling with keeping morale high while waiting for their relief forces to cut off the Germans.
