Something's Wrong In The Warp... - a unique terrain 1500 points Warhammer 40,000 event on Sunday 16th March 2025

WHAT?

This event will use... unique terrain. We can't give specifics until the day, but this event will use a mix of terrain - but none of it will be from the 40k universe! Who knows what planet you'll be fighting on...

Armies should be no more than 1,500pts points following the current 40k 10th edition rules and all FAQs, erratas, etc released up until Friday 14th March

Painting is not required - all armies will get the 10pts for being battle ready

Terrain will be pre-placed on the battlefield (note: they will not be mirrored, so each table and each side will be different - so rolling for picking side will matter!). We will draw deployment and mission rules prior to each round.

Terrain rules should be agreed upon prior to each game due to their unique-ness!

WHEN?

Sunday 16th March 2025

Doors open 11am, Registration ends 11:15am

2 rounds of games, each round is 2h30m

Due to time constraints, there will only be 15 minutes between rounds so you are advised to bring a packed lunch or eat prior to the games!

Round 1: 11:15 - 14:00
Round 2: 14:15 - 16:30

List submission deadline is Saturday 15th March at 8pm. Late lists may be subject to points penalties or slaps on the wrist. Lists should be submitted to Best Coasts Pairings directly (if your BCP email is different from the email you have purchased your ticket with, let us know the correct email)

This is a fun, casual event with no prizes other than the fun you'll have, and because 2 rounds is not enough to find a winner!

This event is open to all ages, but under 16s should have an adult accompyaning them.

Players are expected to be experienced and able to play a game within the 2 hours 30 minute time limit (ie this event is not for new players!)

Model representation (or ‘WYSIWYG’) is enforced to a reasonable extent. You should be able to tell what model is on the board just by looking at it; so the main weapon must be correct, as must the base size and model size/scale. Smaller details such as pistols/side-arms, equipment or extras are not required to be exact, but these differences should be noted pre-game.
