Tabletop Republic High Wycombe Event

Join us on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th January 2025 for a weekend of matched-play Kill Team!

Refund Policy: Please note refunds cannot be given if cancellation is done within 30 days of the event. Please ensure you'll be able to attend this event when purchasing a ticket.

Tournament Rules:

SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITH NEW PUBLICATIONS - Suffice to say the schedule will be the same.

The tournament will use any Kill Teams, and all FAQ's / balance dataslates available from Games Workshop published up to midnight on Saturday 11th January 2025. You can view such downloads at the following link to ensure you are using the most up-to-date information when creating your Kill Team:

Matched Play: Each player creates a Kill Team as per the matched play section on page 90 of the Kill Team Core Book.

Painting Rules: Models must be painted to at least a Battle Ready standard. This is a requirement to play in the tournament and thus bringing unpainted models and simply taking a 2 point deduction in accordance with point 15 - "Determine Victor" in the Matched Play Mission Sequence on page 93 of the Kill Team Core Book is not permitted.

Mission Sequence: Each round the players work through the Matched Play mission sequence on pages 92 and 93 of the Kill Team Core Book. The only exception to this is point 5 - "Set Up The Killzone". Terrain will be pre-set and must not be moved, unless an objective marker would be placed as per the mission set up on a piece of scenery. In this case, the players "bump" the affected scenery piece in the direction of the nearest drop zone, the minimal distance required in order to not touch the objective marker.

Pairings:

The first round will be drawn at random. After this teams will be paired with swiss-style scoring.

Scoring:

The principle scoring point will be "games won". Tiebreakers will then be based on strength of schedule, followed by NET victory points.

Prizes:
There will be a host of prizes and spot-prizes as this is slated to be our biggest Kill Team event EVER!

Players finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd will win a new Kill Team each.
There will also be trophies and awards for:

Best Painted Kill Team
Players' Player

Unremembered Hero Award (best NET VP outside the podium)

Disaster Averted! Award (second-to-last-place player)
