Tabletop Republic 40K League - Season 3 Results

It's time again to present the awards and the results for this season of the Tabletop Republic Warhammer 40k league! This blog will go through the missions, the results and the statistics from this season, which ran from April - June 2022.

LEAGUE RULES

The Tabletop Republic 40k league is a 1000pt league comprised of 6 games played over 3 months. There weren't any changes to the rules or format of the league compared to S2 - with a mix of War Zone Nachmund missions and custom-made ones.

We had 18 signups for this season, so let's see the final resutls!

TABLE

For the first time, we didn't have an undefeated winner - and it came down to a 10 point difference for the top spot! The final table above shows the full standings for each player - with their placings based on; firstly - points scored (3pts for a win, 2pts for a draw, 1pt for a loss), then points difference (total points scored minus total points conceded). If a further tiebreaker was needed, it would come down to total points scored.

Scott Errington-Bazley's Harlequins just came out on top over Dan Hounsell's Salamanders for the top spot, and Greg Wall's Harlequins took third place over three other players with 4 wins.

THE ROUNDS

Here I will show off each round - including the missions chosen, the rules included and the terrain layouts

ROUND 1: Display of Spiritual Might

ROUND 2: Leading From The Front

ROUND 3: Sacred Ground

ROUND 4: Infiltrate and Sabotage

ROUND 5: Cleanse The Land

ROUND 6: Battlefield of Demise

We had a few players who could not complete their last games due to illness, work, or other reasons. These players received a loss per their own request, with their opponent recieving a free win, scoring a x-0 win where x was the average win difference in each round. There was 1 game in Round 5 where both players were unable to play so that was a double loss, with each player scoring 0 points.

SECONDARIES

Here are each of the secondaries chosen during the league, how many times they were chosen and the average score for each.

Stranglehold was the most popular secondary, with Engage on all Fronts and Retrieve Nachmund Data not far behind. Behind Enemy Lines and Warp Ritual were big scorers, as well as Oaths of Moment and Herd The Prey for faction secondaries.

Grind Them Down, Abhor the Witch and No Prisoners didn't provide the best bang for your buck, neither did Stomp Em Good, The Long War or Eradication of Flesh as Faction Secondaries

Here's each category of secondaries and the average points they scored:

Thanks for reading! This was absolutely the closest season of the league yet, at both ends of the table. Nobody came out undefeated and nobody went winless, which is great to see.

And that's the report! See you all in 3 or so months for the Season 4 report - I've already planned my next army and I look forward to Reaping the rewards! ;)
