Tabletop Republic 1000pt 40K League - Season 5 Results

It's time again to present the awards and the results for this season of the Tabletop Republic Warhammer 40k 1000pt league! This blog will go through the missions, the results, and the statistics from this season, which ran from October to December 2022.

THE LEAGUE

The Tabletop Republic 40k league is a 1000pt league comprised of 6 games played over 3 months. This season was the most popular ever - with 25 total players!

In the league, players must stick with the same Faction throughout the rounds, but can change subfactions and lists.

TABLE

The final table above shows the full standings for each player - with their placings based on; firstly - points scored (3pts for a win, 2pts for a draw, 1pt for a loss), then points difference (total points scored minus total points conceded). If a further tiebreaker was needed, it would come down to total points scored.

Greg's Daemons won this season with some very strong performances and not losing a game - with Lee Anderson improving on last season's 3rd place by getting 2nd this time around, and Scott Errington-Bazley getting 3rd place and a third podium in a row!

Here is the extended table showing each player's win-loss pattern and opponents.

Dan S had to leave the league after Round 2, so Scott H took his place

THE ROUNDS

Here I will show off each round - including the missions chosen, the rules included and the terrain layouts

ROUND 1: Surge of Faith

ROUND 2: Infiltrate the Compound (custom mission)

ROUND 3: Sacred Ground

ROUND 4: Radiation (custom mission)

ROUND 5: Deliverance

ROUND 6: Strike and Support (custom mission)

SECONDARIES

Here are each of the secondaries chosen during the league, how many times they were chosen and the average score for each.

Raise the Banners High was the most popular secondary for the second year in a row, with 38 picks. Retrieve Nephilim Data (28), Behind Enemy Lines (27) and Engage on all Fronts (25) were also often chosen

Warp Ritual was the best-scoring Nephilim secondary by average score (7.5), with Bring it Down (7.4), Assassination (7), and Retrieve Nephilim Data (7) close behind.

On the other side; Engage on all Fronts (4.7), Psychic Interrogation (5.2) and Abor the Witch (2.5) were the lowest-scoring Nephilim secondaries

In faction-specific secondaries (that were chosen 3+ times), the best options were Chaos Daemon's Reality Rebels (14.6), Guard's Boots on the Ground (14.6), Guard's Inflexible Command (14.6) and Sister's Defend the Shrine (13.6)

The below-average scorers for faction secondaries (again, chosen 3+ times) were GSC's Ambush (3.8), CSM's The Long War (4.8), Space Marine's Shock Tactics (4.6), Space Wolves' Warrior Pride (3.7) and Ultramarine's We March for Macragge (4)

I have also compiled each player's individual secondary objective selection and respective secondary average:
