Eternal Wrath - Tournament Report

Eternal Wrath was our first ever 2-day Warhammer 40,000 event - here's how it went down!

RUNNING THE EVENT

Eternal Wrath was a 5-round, 2-day event using Chapter Approved 2021 missions and rules. In this event, Legends units were allowed to allow for more diversity during list picking.

We used the BCP app for the event - with the first round being random and the others being swiss-style pairings.

We had one dropout on the day, meaning I had to step in as backup player, but I enjoyed it!

Let's get to the results:

RESULTS

Placings were decided using the following method: Wins, Points, Win SoS, BP SoS, Wins Extended SoS, BP Extended SoS.

Joe Maylam's Drukhari went undefeated and demolished almost every competitor he faced

Here's the trophy he won (sadly it arrived after the event!)

Konrad was the best of the 4-win club and came 2nd - besting his previous 4th place finish at Purge The Unworthy with his Iron Hands Successor

Rounding out the top 3 was Martyn and his Drukhari

The final award given on the day was best painted, which went to Chris Gent's stunning AdMech army

My poor quality photo doesn't do it justice! Check out more in-detail photos on his Instagram: @tangenticool_miniatures

Here are the results round-by-round:

Sam had to leave early on Day 1, so I gave myself a bye vs him (giving myself the average winning score from the round). He sadly didn't return for Day 2 so David also got a bye in round 4. For Round 5, Jake kindly stepped in and dropped out so he could leave early so we didn't have to give another bye.
